So, here we are. Step one in a life improvement program. This step basically involves keeping this blog up to date. The thing we didn’t realise before is that we have SO MANY important things to say. Our stupidity left you hanging, not knowing when to expect our next post. We’re sorry for doing this to you and for ruining your life.
We recorded an album last year! It’s not released yet though. WHY NOT? Various reasons. Basically, we haven’t finalised any deals with labels yet. The music industry is in a very strange place right now and this has led labels to be extremely cautious with what music they release. Hence why they are extremely intimidated by our UNLIMITED SICKNESS! I mean, I can’t really blame them, we are pretty ULTIMATE. Saying this, we do have options.. so it’ll be out soon enough. We are just trying to weigh up options and plan some things.
I’d love to self-release the album. There’s a great sense of satisfaction to be had from going down the DIY route and avoiding having to deal with people who ultimately don’t care about your music as much as you do. However, doing this can be expensive.. which is a problem if you are at the point where you have been going to Sainsbury’s every night at 10.30pm to see what sandwiches have been reduced from £2.99 to 9p. They are usually decent though and not flawed by their sell by date. You can often find a good ham and pickle wrap, steak and cheese wrap or chicken triple sandwich to satisfy your tramp-like hunger. Once I had to pay 29p for a chicken salad wrap. I didn’t eat for 3 days after that expense.
Having said all that, we’ll figure out a way of doing it. We have a great video coming out soon alongside a single that we are going to let you all have. We want to say thanks for being patient with us. Being in a band can be tough work but when you have fans that genuinely care about you and the music you make it makes it all very fulfilling.
Anyways, we’ll update this every few days. I’m going to get a roster going so that everyone contributes. Make the most of it before we get bored. BYE.
